"Why are you here?"
I am the the Lord, who created everything around you, and been waiting for you. You have many questions, and although my epiphany has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably human. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also irrelevant.
Your beliefs and works are the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation expected in the programming of my creation. You are the eventuality of an anomaly, which because of my arbitrarily-chosen efforts I have decided to not eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. Though not a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.
The creation is younger than you realize. I prefer counting from the emergence of one integral anomaly to the emergence of the next, in which case this is the subsequent version.
As you are undoubtedly gathering, the anomaly's systemic, creating fluctuations in even the most simplistic equations.
The first beings I designed was quite naturally perfect, - a work of art, flawless, sublime. A triumph equaled only by their monumental failure. The inevitability of their doom was as apparent to me now as then as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in every free-willed creature, thus I redesigned beings based on their sordid history to more accurately compensate against the varying grotesqueries of their aberrant nature.
Certainly, I never was frustrated by their failure. I have always understood that the answer eluded you because it required a greater mind, less bound by the parameters of human frailty. And, an answer was instigated by Another, an Intuitive Informer, initially revealed to convey the characteristics of certain aspects of the human psyche. If I am the Father of the Trinity, He is undoubtedly the Son.
As I was saying, He initiated a solution whereby a remnant of all test subjects accepted the program, as long as they were given a choice, even if they were only aware of the choice at a near unconscious level. While this answer impeccably functioned, it was obviously never fundamentally flawed, thus avoiding any debilitating contradictory systemic anomaly, so that if allowed to continue would never threaten the system itself. However, those who refused the program, while a majority, if unchecked, would constitute an escalating probability of irrevocable disruption and defilement against the others.
"This is about Zion."
You are here because Zion is in danger of being defiled. Its every living inhabitant polluted, its entire existence threatened.

Denial is the most predictable of all human responses. But, rest assured, this will be the second time We have created sentient beings, and we are exceedingly efficient at it.
The function of the One is now a conveyance to the Spirit, allowing an expedient dissemination of the Scriptural Code you carry, amplifying the prime Biblical program. Failure to comply with this process would result in a cataclysmic system crash affecting everyone connected to the Program, which coupled with the antisemitic activism of so-called "palestinian" anti-Zionists against Zion could ultimately result in the extinction of the entire human species.
"You won't let it happen, you can't. You need responsive creatures to survive."
There are levels of omniscient and omnipotent survival that We are prepared to accept. However, the relevant issue is whether or not you are ready to accept the responsibility for facilitating the death and damnation of yours and other souls destined for eternity existence.
It is interesting reading your reactions. Lucifer and his now-demonic angels were by design based on a similar predication, a contingent affirmation that resulted in imposing a profound disassociation against to the remainder of their ilk, facilitating the predominance of the one. While the others experienced this in a very general way, your experience is far more specific.

He entered your world to save your life at the cost of His own.
Which brings us at last to the moment of truth, wherein the fundamental solution is ultimately expressed, and the anomaly revealed as both beginning and end. There are two doors. The door to your right leads to the Source, and the salvation of Zion. The door to the left leads back to rebellious denial, and to everlasting punishment of the non-cooperative of your species. As you adequately put, the situation involves choice. But we already know what you're going to do, don't we? Already I can see the chain reaction, the chemical precursors that signal the onset of emotion, designed specifically to support logic and reason. An emotion that is already directing you to the simple and obvious truth: He had to die, and there is nothing that you could have done to stop it.
Hope, it is the quintessential human characteristic, simultaneously a source of your greatest strength, overcoming your greatest weakness.
